| Contenido: | In this 27 minute video that is transcribed and translated into Spanish and English with interlinear morpheme glosses, Alejandrino Aguavil continues his discussion concerning shaman stones, the differences between types of shamans and his personal experiences with healing rituals. He then talks about the relation between the evangelical church and the shamans and of a Tsachi shaman that turned into a devil. Finally he talks about the sexuality of young modern day Tsachila. In this video Alejandrino Aguavil continues his conversation about shaman stones. These stones are very powerful and can be used for both good and evil. One needs to be very careful in how one domesticates and uses these stones. He describes various healing rituals he has undertaken with the shamans and the differences between true Tsachi shamans, shamans of the sierra and some modern day "shamans" who don't follow the regimen of a true shaman. He talks about the relationship between the evangelists and the shamans and tells a story about a powerful shaman who dies, turns into a devil and causes a volcanic eruption. Finally he talks about the sexuality of the modern day young Tsachila. |
